Ashoka in Evony: Power of India’s Greatest Emperor

Ashoka devoted himself to promoting "dhamma," or righteous conduct, which was the main theme of his edicts. He was an Indian emperor from the Maurya Dynasty, and is regarded as one of India’s greatest emperors.

In 269 BC, Ashoka became the ruler of the Maurya Dynasty. Before his reign, the dynasty controlled only northern India. Ashoka expanded the territory, conquering almost the entire Indian subcontinent. After witnessing the mass deaths in the Kalinga War, he repented his violent actions and converted to Buddhism. His rule then became known for its peace and benevolence, bringing prosperity to his empire.

How to Get Ashoka

1. Diwali Celebration Event
   During the Diwali Celebration, you can obtain the Epic Historic General Ashoka by participating in the Promise of Diyas event. Collect Diwali Diyas by gathering resources (up to 10 per day), defeating monsters (up to 20 per day), or buying packages.

2. Delphic Oracle Event
   Use Glory of Astraeus to wish for the Delphic Historic General Chest on Apollo’s Glory page. Open the chest to select General Ashoka.
